Greetings, Congresswoman Emerson:
It is with great honor and respect that I contact you seeking assistance with obtaining a Presidential response. My family and I are residents of the City of West Plains, MO and are proud to call it home. We are passionate about giving back to our Community and working to build economic development.
In 2010, we created as a family an internationally recognized website: http://www.theantiquetractorshow.com/  followed by the first ever in the United States – State recognized Antique Tractor Preservation Day [September 23, 2010] http://www.theantiquetractorshow.com/blog/index.php/?p=17
In the fall of 2010, I wrote to President Barack Obama three (3) times asking that he consider issuing a Presidential Proclamation designating ANTIQUE TRACTOR PRESERVATION DAY as a National Day of Celebration and Ag History Education; in tribute to the tractors’ importance to our Nation’s rich agricultural and farm machinery heritage. Regrettably, to-date none of my inquiries to the President have been answered or acknowledged.
I appreciate any assistance/communications your Office can offer to help me receive a follow-up response.  I continue to work to build interest in the preservation of antique tractors; as well as to create increased tourism for the State of Missouri, the Ozarks Region, and Community of West Plains, MO – effectively stimulating our State’s economy. Recently, I was appointed to a two (2) year term on the City of West Plains, MO Tourism Development Advisory Council: http://www.theantiquetractorshow.com/blog/index.php/?p=481
Thank you and kindest regards,
