It is August 30th and the last entry for this month’s Equipment Highlight. The AGTV Network has spent August highlighting equine equipment. Today we finish up with horse trailers. A horse trailer can be strictly for transporting your prized horses or combined with living quarters for you while on the rodeo circuit or headed to the next arena for presentation.

Bigger horses will appreciate the roomy stalls in the Featherlite Model 8552 horse trailer. Big horse trailer Model 8552 is a slant load aluminum trailer that can be configured to hold 2 to 3 horses. It is designed for bigger horses with stalls that are 50” wide. The trailer itself is 7’6” wide and ranges from 18’ to 22’ long. Each horse gets one drop down feed door and one window with bars. The dressing room’s short wall is four feet long. The outside of the horse trailer boasts aluminum “wave” side panels, protective gravel guard and countless more options. Lack of space is definitely not an issue when it comes to these bumper pull horse trailers.
8413 Combo Trailer
While other trailers offer you the option to carry either horses or livestock, Featherlite’s Model 8413 lets you do both. This gooseneck trailer is set up to haul either livestock or horses with optional center gates to split the cargo area, allowing you to do double duty. As an added bonus, owners can configure the 8413 as a straight or slant load, and the skid proof floor helps animals keep their footing in transit. Featherlite Model 8413 can also be fitted for hauling polo horses.
