Local farm bureaus raise funds for “Blue Jacket Bonanza”
Purchasing official blue corduroy jackets for FFA members who might otherwise only dream of owning one was the goal of the Santa Barbara County (Calif.) Farm Bureau. Their “Blue Jacket Bonanza” fundraiser made that goal a reality! In its first year, the SBCFB raised $18,000 to buy blue jackets for FFA members who applied to the program. The successful program is now being expanded. FFA advisors are encouraged to contact their local farm bureau to learn about the program; click here for more information.
