Think Pink!

During the three days of the Expo, attendees who visit the Reinke booth will have the opportunity to contribute to breast cancer research through the 26.2 with Donna, The National Marathon, to Finish Breast Cancer. 26.2 with Donna is a private nonprofit organization in northeast Florida whose mission is to produce world-class events dedicated exclusively to raise funds to end breast cancer.One-hundred percent of raised funds and race proceeds for all 26.2 with Donna events go to breast cancer research and care. Each day of the Expo, the first 100 people who visit the Reinke booth and contribute at least $10 to 26.2 with Donna will receive a free pink Reinke cap. Visitors also will get an up-close look at the unique pink irrigation wheels, shipped in from Nebraska just for the Expo exhibit.

KIOTI Tractor, a division of Daedong-USA, Inc., will be featuring a pink CS2410 subcompact tractor in booth A-5. This special edition tractor will be showcased in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month to increase awareness and prevention of the disease. Throughout the show, KIOTI will be accepting silent bids for the pink CS2410 in their  booth, with the winner being named at the close of the exposition. All proceeds from the auction of the pink tractor will be donated by KIOTI to charities who provide support for breast cancer patients, or who help fund prevention or research of the disease.

Well Grounded – Alabama Spotlight State for 2012

For the fourth time in Expo history, Alabama will be featured as the Expo’s Spotlight State exhibit. This year Alabama’s Spotlight Tent will feature a distinctive, modern flair aimed to pique the interest of young and old visitors alike. A unique and colorful entrance to the tent, featuring a giant sod replica of Alabama, grown by Beck’s Turf Farm in Macon County, Ala., will be trimmed with thousands of flowers and plants that include pansies, flowering cabbage and kale grown by Alabama’s own Bonnie Plants Farm. Large flat-screen televisions will act as revolving billboards in the tent and will feature stunning photos and agricultural scenes from throughout Alabama along with interesting educational facts about every segment of agriculture in the state.

A green screen photography display will allow visitors to have their photo taken with a variety of interesting and whimsical backgrounds. Photos will be emailed to participants and posted on social media sites that day to allow visitors to share their photo with friends and invite more people to learn about Alabama.
